DERMAL FILLER CASE STUDY
Hx: Pt presented with generalised concerns of ‘disliking her lower face’. During consultation the patient found it difficult to pinpoint exactly what is was about her lower face that she disliked, however she felt self-conscious and often spoke with her hand over her mouth to hide the area.
Tx: On examination it was noted that the patient had a hyperactive chin muscle which reduced the chin length. She also had slight recession of the lower jaw. On her initial treatment her hyperactive chin muscle was treated. Upon review it was decided to try and improve the length and projection of the chin. Her photos are post 1 treatment of revolumisation to the chin, relaxation of the overlying muscle. We have discussed additional treatment into the chin and jawline to be assessed at subsequent appointments.
